METALLICA IN SPRINGFIELD
That's it! That's it! THAT IS IT!!!I've had it up to here w/Hollywood and their constant lack of creativity. Why is there some strange reason why we, as consumers, are subjected to numerous remakes. I mean think about it, The Longest Yard, Texas Chainsaw Massacre,The Amityville Horror, The Fog (there's something in the fog). I'll tell you what's in "The Fog", along with these other flicks, BULLSHIT!!! What next? Friday the 13th, Halloween (I swear if Hollywood so much as touch those flicks, I will burn it to the gorund). And it's not limited to movies, but TV as well. Who the hell said that it was okay to turn Bewitched into a flick? And who the hell said the Will Ferrell was funny? I hate that guy. And while we're on the subject of movies, what the hell is up with horror movies getting PG-13 ratings. I already know that there is no originality in Hollywood any more, but give me a break. Now don't get me wrong, some remakes are good. Look at the Mask of Zorro. Antonio Banderas was perfect. Now will I go see The Legend of Zorro? Not if I want to see another Mummy Returns. Robin Hood w/Kevin Costner? Please, Willow was 10 times better. And like Cary Elwes said, "Unlike other Robin Hoods, I speak w/an english accent." When the hell will that movie be released on dvd? There's really no point in going to the movies any more. THE Exorcism of Emily Rose? I'll take Dolls, and that movie sucked donk-e-balls. Does any one remember the end song from Legend, where Jack and Lily reattaches the unicorn's horn? I can't get that stupid song out of my head. "Love by the Sun", that's what it was. But seriously, the remakes have got to stop.
Anyhoo, the real reason why I'm here. As the subject reads: METALLICA IN SPRINGFIELD!!! That's right James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammet, and Rob Trujilio will guest star on an episode of THE SIMPSONS. I hope the episode isn't about illegal downloading. I hope that before the show is finally laid to rest, KISS and IRON MAIDEN make their guest spots on the show. They deserve it. Well, I have to go now, watching old epi of NEW YORK Undercover on TV ONE. BYE!
